Phinpup left today to go back east to live with his family and without knowing it, he seemed to be holding a lot of resentment against me. After I dropped him off at the bus station and made sure he got off okay, I came back and at one point realized I had a message from someone on Yobrepaid. When I tried to login, I was stunned to find that the site was down on the day he left. Thinking that maybe he turned off the computer or that the server crashed, I went to investigate and in doing so, came across a very hate filled message from Phinpup. It turned out that he was filled with anger because he felt that I had used him and that he had done way more work that we had originally agreed on. The thing was, instead of coming to me and telling me that this was going far beyond what he agreed upon and that if I valued our ongoing friendship, that I would either drop it or pay him something for it, he bottled it up and made it seem like everything was okay. There was one moment that he told me that his sister said he should be getting paid for what he was doing and he thought so as well but at the time, he was working on the project that he had agreed on doing in the first place and I didn't take the matter that seriously as he later calmed down. Now thinking back on it, I wished I had taken that a little more seriously and talked it over with him. To be honest, I wish I never started that bathroom project in the first place as it just put me further in debt over a house I will probably be leaving soon anyway.
Anyways, as I said, he was angry and so to get back at me, he decided to hurt me by killing the site. I am not sure exactly what he did and without a person who knows his stuff, I don't think I will ever be able to recover the old site again. The best I can do is try and make us a new home. It may not be as flashy as our old one, but at least it should be easier to maintain without Phinpups help. Unless someone out there knows anything about Virtual Machines that run on Windows 7 in a bubble with the bubble software being Linux. In the meantime, I will try my best to see if I can get my one friend to help me out and get the site back up that way. If anything, I may be able to get the site back up from a very old copy of it, but we would lose a lot of updates to it.
If anyone has any ideas, please post them here.

First of all I was shocked to see what Phin did to the site. I had no idea he was so hateful and mean. He had no reason to do this to our wonderful site that now seems to be gone. As for JD owing Phin any money that is just pure Bovine Scatology!!! JD took Phin last fall and he lived there cost free until early this year when he finally got a job!!!! JD I am so sorry to see that this asshole has done. I hope with some help we can get the old site back maybe Deeker or his brother may have some ideas what to do.!!!

I have been trying all day to find that question out, so far, I have had no luck. Though most of the stories are retrievable through other sources. It will just take some time to get them back up. Unfortunately, this isn't a normal dispute as I had no idea that he was upset with me as he left this morning with nothing showing but friendliness. He was a good master of his emotions!

The site will live on, it will just have to live on in a different form is all. Most likely it will be in a format much like the one we currently have here but I am hoping to find out if we have any website developers out there that might be able to design something for us that might be a little better than that.

Ugh! So much for continuing what Deeker started. Phinpup, if you felt that way, why didn't you talk to someone about it? After all that what the forum section was for in some regard. Well there goes another perfectly good site which I helped fix some issues like the reset password feature by reporting it. Admin, I feel for you, he bottled his emotions and when the time come, he left, switched the server off and took his ball and went home without warning that he would break the website as revenge. You didn't know so we all aren't going after you for not speaking to him, it's his fault for not being open about it in the first place. Congratulations Phinpup, you're an idiot to this community, I should know how much effort it takes to create a site, I do have developer tools in my browser so I can see all the HTML code that it needs to integrate Javascript and PHP and all those web-based languages together. UGH! Unbelievable. His sister should've at least suggested to him to talk to his partner about dropping it or getting paid for maintaining it, but nope, bottled it up and boom in one quick motion we all suffer, we get punished. Admin, if there is anything, anything I can do to help then I am here to support the new site 100% when it is up and running. It won't be a quick fix, which is understandable, but have comfort in knowing that the members of Yobrepaid are behind you.

I appreciate your kind words and wish that I had better news but unfortunately I don't. I still haven't been able to get my friend over to start the work on the new server and after talking to him yesterday he has informed me that because he has forgotten a lot of what he learned in college, he would have to take a lot of time googling stuff and relearning it as he goes. Unless I can find someone else who knows how to build a server and website that uses programs like mysql, Javascript, PHP, CSS, and other such modern computer programs, I don't know what else to do but having to wait the estimated 2 - 6 months for the new site to be up and running.
